Blind, but not justice

I just read the disturbing March 2 letter to the editor, “Inslee being callous,” from Joshua Ross about the death penalty moratorium in our state. Regarding condemned criminals, he wrote “There is only one way for justice to truly be satisfied: They must be put to death.”

I think it wise to remember what Mahatma Gandhi once said about vengeance: “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.”
