Obituary: Aure, Narcisa Elizaga “Lola”

Age 91

AURE, Narcisa Elizaga “Lola” Our beloved mother “Lola” passed away March 6, 2014.

She went peacefully with our Lord surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on January 2, 1923 in Maragondon Cavite, Philippines.

She was the last survivor of seven siblings.

She was very active in the Catholic Women’s League and she taught catechism.

She married Captain Felix M. Aure and was blessed with six children.

She was very devoted to her family and loved all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She touched many lives, especially those who were lucky enough to call her “Lola”.

She always made sure that everyone was well fed at any gathering.

She was preceded in death by her husband Felix, son Felicito, and son-in-law Verne.

She is survived by her son, Apolinar (Beth); daughters, Eleanor (Arnaldo), Carmelita, Cynthia (Dennis), Cherrylyn (Oscar); and daughter-in-law Virginia; 15 grandchildren, Aimee, Felix Jr., Arvin John, Cayce, Abigail, Mark, Angel, Marvin, Christian, Veronica, Kristoffer, Kevin, Kenneth, Kendrick, Carlyn; two great-grandchildren, Ariyanna and Pia, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and the Rosary Girls.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 4:30pm-8:30pm, with a Rosary at 7:30pm at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley.

A celebration of Narcisa’s life will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Paschal Catholic Church, 2523 N. Park Rd., Spokane Valley, with Fr.

Joseph Bell officiating.

A reception will follow at St. Paschal School.
