Obituary: Jasper, Jerri Renee

Age 54

JASPER, Jerri Renee` January 1, 1960 - February 27, 2014 Our beloved Jerri joined her parents, Richard Wassink and Jacqueline Myers in Heaven February 27, 2014.

Jerri was the first baby born January 1, 1960 in Pendleton, OR.

She is Survived by her husband, Robert Jasper of Kauai, HI; her sister and brother in law, Carmen and Tom Jacoby; brother, Derek Law; nephews and nieces Ryan May,Steven Lambert, Courtney Jacoby, Travis Law and Larrisa McQueen all of Spokane WA.

Jerri lived life to the fullest.

She was generous, compassionate and kind.

She always went to great lengths to make people feel special.

She accomplished a lot in her life.

As a young woman she modeled in the 1979 boat show.

She became the KDRK radio station’s “Kissin Cousin”.

In the ‘80s Jerri founded and developed ” The Living Dolls” fashion shows in Spokane which earned her an interview on the TV program PM Magazine.

She moved to San Fransisco to work for Barbison Modeling Agency eventually moving back to Spokane.

In 1991 she met the love of her life, Robert Jasper, and moved to Kauai.

She loved Hawaii.

In 1992 she survived Hurricane Iniki which devastated her beloved Island of Kauai forcing them to move to Maui.

They established “Fancy Feathers”, an exotic bird store.

Jerri loved animals and took in every stray.

They eventually moved back home to Kauai.

They created “Hawaii Movie Tours” which became one of the 50 fastest growing companies in the entire state of Hawaii six years in a row.

She put everything she had into everything she did.

After the longest engagement in history Bob and Jerri were married January 12, 2008 in a beautiful ceremony in Sandpoint, ID.

Jerri touched the lives of many people in a positive way.

In place of a memorial and in the spirit of Aloha her family ask anyone who read this to perform a random act of kindness in her name.
