Obituary: Slater, Howard Dean

SLATER, Howard Dean 4/1/32 - 3/2/14 Howard was born in Wenatchee, WA.

He received an Honorable Discharge from the Navy.

He worked as a long haul truck driver for 30+ years; also as a commercial fisherman.

He enjoyed telling stories, crossword puzzles and the Jeopardy TV show.

Howard loved to sing and play guitar and the harmonica.

He was known to be good natured, kind hearted and he touched many lives.

Howard leaves behind his companion, Brenda Marjamaki; daughters Nonie Slater, Dena Florence and Violetta Shields all of Spokane; Alice Kelly resides in Florida; three step- children Sherry Shaver, Rock Nelson and Dawn Rosa; other step-children and numerous grandchildren.

Name given him “Catching Thunder” Kah Kah Chi T I naht Pi Ye So.

He will be dearly missed.
