LEDBETTER, Melinda “Mindy” (KEEN) July 18, 1955 - February 21, 2014 Melinda “Mindy” Ledbetter (KEEN) got her angel wings on February 21, 2014 with her children and sister by her side.

Mindy was born and raised in Spokane and was a long-time resident of Colfax where she raised her children and owned Top Notch Cafe for many years.

Mindy returned to Spokane in 2004 and spent the remainder of her life in the Spokane area.

Mindy is remembered for her kind heart and selfless nature always putting everyone else’s needs before her own, even in her final days.

She did everything with a smile and her positive energy was contagious.

Family meant everything to her.

She had a very special bond with her grandson, spending much of her final years listening to music or playing cards with him.

Mindy’s family would like to thank the entire staff of Cancer Care Northwest and Dr. Danko as well as Hospice of Spokane for their compassionate care.
