Obituary: Maccarrol, Rosemary

Age 78

MACCARROL, RoseMary Anderson, SC, formerly of Spokane, Washington RoseMary Osso MacCarrol, 78, formerly of Spokane, WA, passed on to be with the Lord on Sunday March 9, 2014 after succumbing to Alzheimer’s Disease.

Born on April 18, 1935 in Spokane, WA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Teresa Armentino Osso.

RoseMary spent her early years as a professional singer.

Later, her career included Director of Catering for convention centers in several major cities as well as several coastal hotels.

RoseMary had a full life of traveling with her husband, David, entertaining her friends and neighbors being involved in the Fleet Reserve Association, Footprinters International, DAV Women’s Auxiliary and various volunteer organizations.

She had a love for people and life and was very outgoing and energetic.

She is survived by her husband, David MacCarrol; daughter, Deborah Carter and husband Louie; sister, Delores Mille; nephew, Todd Miller; niece, Vicky Scimone and cousin LaVerna Knappert.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Erickson.

Services will be planned at a later date in the VA National Cemetery in Forth Worth, TX.

The family would like to thank Clemson Downs Nursing Home in Clemson, SC for the wonderful care RoseMary received there.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
