Indicted Former NFL All-Pro safety Darren Sharper was indicted in Arizona on charges of sexual assault and administering dangerous drugs. It was the latest development in several ongoing sexual assault investigations involving the 38-year-old Sharper in Louisiana, California, Florida, Arizona and Nevada.

Arrested University of Maine running back Zedric Joseph was arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing in Florida. Palm Beach County Sheriff deputies say they responded to a stabbing Friday in West Palm Beach, where they found 23-year-old stab-wound victims Vashti Laurore and Ricardy Chery. Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital, where Chery died. Laurore was treated and released. University of Maine officials say Joseph was suspended from the school Saturday, after they learned of the stabbing.

Sold More than two-thirds of the World Cup soccer matches have sold out less than three hours after FIFA opened new ticket sales. Tickets for all Brazil matches were gone in about an hour, as were the ones for all the quarterfinals and nearly all the second round.

Announced ESPN says Brent Musburger will be the lead play-by-play announcer for its new SEC Network, with former Florida quarterback Jesse Palmer as analyst.

Barred The NCAA told Baylor it wouldn’t be allowed to wear new uniform designs from adidas that have “Sic ‘Em Bears” on the front. The NCAA said only the school name or traditional nicknames like “Bears” are allowed on the front of game uniforms.

Expected The agent representing Michael Schumacher says there are small signs the Formula One champion is expected to wake from the coma he has been in for more than two months. Schumacher was hospitalized with severe head injuries after a December ski crash.

Died Trailblazing bodybuilder Larry Dee Scott, who rose to fame in the 1960s and became the first Mr. Olympia by winning the top international competition, has died at the age of 75. Scott died Saturday, according to the Lindquist Mortuary in Bountiful, Utah. He died of complications from Alzheimer’s disease.

• Former D.C. United midfielder Shawn Kuykendall has died from a rare form of cancer at the age of 32.
