Nar-Anon – A support group for friends and family of addicts. Meets Mondays, 6:30 p.m., Opportunity Presbyterian Church, 202 N. Pines Road; Tuesdays, 6:15 p.m., Northview Bible Church, 13521 N. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) – Meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, 6:30-8 p.m., at Sacred Heart Hospital, 101 W. 8th Ave. Call (509) 467-1250 or (509) 475-6221 for more information.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) – Sponsors free education, support and outreach programs that help make life less difficult for individuals and families, including caregivers of children, affected by mental illness. All teachers, facilitators and speakers are trained volunteers with personal experience either as relatives of or as individuals living with mental illnesses.
