Hoop noise sounds good

Regarding the noise at Gonzaga University basketball games: The high noise level lasts all of about four to five minutes.

I am a senior citizen and thoroughly enjoy the hype. It hasn’t affected my hearing at all. Look around. There are a lot of middle-aged and seniors at the women’s games.

Leonard Butters (March 1) might be better off watching at home. He can then control the noise.
