Sasquatch! Fourth of July concerts canceled

A second Sasquatch! Music Festival weekend scheduled over the Fourth of July weekend has been canceled due to low ticket sales, promoters announced Friday. The Memorial Day music festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre will continue as planned, a news release said. It noted there are still passes available for that concert weekend. Refunds for credit card purchases of passes for the Fourth of July weekend will be issued by Ticketmaster. Half the purchase price will be refunded to those who bought passes to both weekends. For more information, call Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000. “The Sasquatch! community has spoken. They continue to support the traditional Memorial Day Weekend event with great enthusiasm. Unfortunately, the second weekend was not embraced. We felt it was better to cancel the new event now and give everyone time to make alternative plans for the Fourth of July weekend,” according to the news release.
