Aging, but still valid

This is in response to Duncan Bean’s premise (March 10) that “sexual attraction has only one purpose: to facilitate reproduction.” He expands on this to demean the gay community by contending that, since gays cannot naturally reproduce, they lack validity and, as such, are not entitled to rights.

If we can disprove his argument, then everything else he posits against the gay community also fails. Therefore, I offer as proof: I am a 60-year-old man that finds his wife of 36 years sexually attractive and with some assurance my breeding days are over.
