Obituary: Melville, Gerald “Jerry”
Age 93
He married Peggy Mowatt Matzdorf on November 12, 1944.
They moved to Valley, Washington and farmed for 22 years and then moved into town where Jerry went to work for Lane Mt.
Silica, where he retired.
He also owned the local barber shop and he loved fishing and bowling.
Jerry is survived by his four children, Anna Woodbury of Valley, Fae Thompson (husband Jim) of Waitts Lake, Fred Melville (wife Cindy) of Waitts Lake, Pat Niswonger (husband Jeff) of Spokane, brother Bob Melville (wife Vera) of Spokane, numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A gravesite service for Family and Friends will be held for both Jerry and Peggy on March 29th at 11:30am at Chewelah Memorial Cemetery on Hwy 395.
