Obituary: Pearson, Clair

PEARSON, Clair Paul (Age 91) Passed away on March 23 2014, at home in Spokane Valley, surrounded by his family.

Clair was born on September 4, 1922 in Ronan, MT to William Arthur Pearson and Leona Esther (Cornelison) Pearson.

Clair served in the Coast Guard during WWII.

He attended Lee College in Cleveland, Tennessee, and NW College in Minot, ND, where he met and married his wife, Betty, of 63 years.

They pastored several churches in Montana to include Great Falls and Helena.

They moved the family to Spokane in 1970.

He worked for the State of Washington, DSHS.

He retired in 1986.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Pearson, five daughters, fourteen grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

He will be remembered by many for his love of people and sense of humor.

He never met a stranger.

The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 11:00am at the Valley Assembly of God Church on Broadway and Sullivan in Spokane Valley.
