Spokane Valley Tween Club - Just for tweens in grades 4-6. Join us monthly at 4 p.m. as we have some snacks, make things, play games and more. Today, sock creatures: We’ll provide patterns, embellishments from our craft closet, and plenty of socks (you can also bring socks from home). April 24, calling all superheroes: Grab your mask and secret identity (cape optional) and come to the library to explore the science of superheroes with an afternoon of superhero crafts, trivia and challenges. “New Digs for Cool Pigs - Fables from the AuditoriHAM” - Ham on Regal production celebrating the 51st annual fundraiser in the new auditorium. The annual production is made up of more than 250 parents who sing, dance, jump and jive. The story begins as we prepare for our grand opening; the group is in desperate need of ideas on ways to celebrate. Fortunately, our new Physics-I-Gadget can help with our search. Environmental Science Presentation for Kids - You’ll learn about environmental science in the Inland Northwest. Kat Hall, the conservation programs director for The Lands Council, will explain the plethora of science activities that go on every day around us. 55th annual Gem, Jewelry and Mineral Show - The show will feature 40 dealers and 60 displays of precious and semiprecious stones, fossils, specimens, beautiful jewelry and more. “Bedtime Math No. 2: This Time it’s Personal” - This is the newest addition to the popular “Bedtime Math” book. Inside this book, families will find fun, mischief-making math problems to tackle math that isn’t just kid-friendly, but actually kid-appealing.
