League outlook

It’s always a tug of war in the GNL and this year won’t be any different. East Valley’s girls, defending district champs, are given the nod and West Valley’s boys, runners-up at district to Deer Park last spring, are tabbed the favorites. Pullman standout Lauren McCluskey, injured a week before district last year, has moved to Ohio.

League outlook

 The Riverside girls and the Freeman boys are tabbed as favorites. Freeman’s girls should challenge, too, as will the Medical Lake boys.
