 Brent Lyles has earned fraud examiner certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Lyles is the vice president of Elk Point Enterprises. To earn this certification, Lyles completed anti-fraud education and passed an examination in the areas of fraudulent transactions, fraud prevention and deterrence, legal elements and fraud investigation.

 Jason E. Johnson, a private wealth adviser with Ameriprise Financial, has achieved membership in the Million Dollar Round Table – The Premier Association of Financial Professionals. Membership in the association is selective and awarded based on client service, adherence to a code of ethics, professionalism and involvement in at least one other industry association.

Health care

 Caryl Johnston has been named director of the North Idaho Rural Health Consortium. In this role, Johnston will help develop health programs and grant resources for communities in rural North Idaho. Previously, Johnston worked as the executive director of United Way of Kootenai County

 Isaac R. Grindeland has joined Incyte Diagnostics as a pathologist. Grindeland is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and has completed a fellowship in gastrointestinal pathology. He earned his medical degree at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

 Gregory T. Carter, medical director at St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute, has been appointed to serve on the board of directors for the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Carter joined St. Luke’s Physiatry Practice in September 2013.

 Garden Plaza of Post Falls has named Ann Byers as general manager. Byers has extensive experience in health care administration, including serving as marketing director/assistant administrator and then as the executive director at Harbor Crest Retirement Center.

Insurance

 Wes Teterud, a New York Life Insurance Co. agent in Spokane, has been named a senior NYLIC of New York Life in recognition of 20 years with the company.

Marketing

 BLUE541 has hired Maria Alauddin as an account executive and public relations assistant. Previously, Alauddin was a senior account manager at Bozzi Media.

 Critical Power Exchange has hired Paul Clark, Ryan Gese, Robert Morgan, Brian Pape, Toby Rose, Ray Singer and Kent Walls. The company has also promoted Tyler Harbour to director of field operations and Brian Ostby to senior project manager and LGS manager.

Nonprofit

 SKILS’KIN has promoted Patrick Striker from staffing manager to manager of the Community Employment Services Department. Prior to joining SKILS’KIN, Striker was with Sullivan Park Assisted Living.

 New Hope Resource Center has named board officers for the 2014-15 year as follows: president, Julie Borrevik; vice president, Mark Vogelsang; secretary, Alanna Joy Crouch; treasurer, Steven Nokes; immediate past president, Harla Jean Biever.

 Randy Long has joined RE/MAX of Spokane as a managing broker. Long has been in the real estate industry for nine years and was previously with Century 21 Beutler & Associates. Jonas Elber has joined RE/MAX of Spokane as a broker. Previously, Elber was with Windermere City Group and he has been in the real estate industry for nine years.
