Obituary: Simmonds, Keith E.
Keith was born 1932 in Omak, Washington to Marguerite and Wilfred Simmonds and went to the Lord on March 25, 2014.
He attended WSU (he was a loyal Coug fan), and graduated from EWU.
Keith was employed as an IRS agent for almost 20 years.
One of his proudest and happiest times was serving as athletic director and coaching football and track for “his boys” at St. Francis of Assisi School.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Colleen and his children, Patty (Brian) Syhlman, Spokane, WA, Karen Hare, Spokane, WA Mark (Helen) Simmonds Ewa Beach HI, Steve (Rhonda) Simmonds Los Alamos, NM and grand- children, Conner, Marisa, Kaitlynn, Derick, Quinn, Jourdan, Griffin, Claire, Nathan, Ciera, Natalie, Nicholas, and his sister Janet Liddle.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents, Marguerite and Wilfred Simmonds and brother, Fred Simmonds.
He was a kind, loving and loyal friend to his wife, family and friends!
Rosary and Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 4420 N. Jefferson, Spokane, WA on Saturday, April 5th at 10:00a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of Spokane or St. Francis of Assisi Church.
