Age 60
Don was born in Crosby, ND in 1953.
Don graduated from Columbus High School and Minot State University.
He worked at the Bank of North Dakota where he met his wife Annis.
They were married for 31 years.
Don was employed in the banking industry for over 30 years with his most recent position being the manager of Wells Fargo for Eastern WA.
Don retired in 2010.
He enjoyed spending his winters in Arizona.
Don served on many different boards over the years including, Starlight Children’s Foundation, United Way, and MS Society.
Don was an advocate for the MS Society going to Olympia and Washington, DC to testify before congressional committees.
Don was a caring, giving and generous man.
He was devoted to his wife Annis.
Don not only shared his faith and good fortune with his extended family, but also to many charities too numerous to mention.
Don was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Shirley, brother-in-law Rodney Klitze, and niece Brianna Klitze.
Don is survived by his wife Annis; his sister Lorie Klitze; and many nieces and nephews.
Don will be greatly missed by all those who have been blessed to have known him.
A memorial service will be held March 31st at 11:00 AM at Advent Lutheran Church, 13009 E. Broadway Ave., Spokane Valley, WA.
