1: ‘Arsenic and Old Lace’

Two sweet old ladies love to serve up a nice glass of wine and arsenic to their guests with just a pinch of cyanide. A love-struck drama critic finds out what his aunts have in the cellar, while dealing with one brother who’s a murderous psychopath and another who thinks he’s Teddy Roosevelt.

2: ‘Becky’s New Car’

Becky Foster feels stuck until she is offered a chance at a new life in this romantic comedy.

3: Wylie & The Wild West

Singer, songwriter, rancher, horseman and the original world-famous Yahoo yodeler, Wylie Gustafson leads the musical outfit known as The Wild West. Wylie & The Wild West have played thousands of gigs and performed at the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering, The National Folk Festival, Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, on “A Prairie Home Companion” and the Grand Ole Opry.

4: Paula Poundstone

One of the favorite panelists on NPR’s “Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me!” returns to Spokane with her quirky perspectives on life. Everything’s open for discussion – including politics, current events, family and her 13 cats. Proceeds benefit Spokane Public Radio.

6: Bloomsday 2014

38th running of the world’s largest timed fun run, a 12K course through Spokane. Open to all runners, walkers, wheelchairs, assisted wheelchairs and strollers.

When: 9 a.m. Sunday. Course closes at 1:30 p.m.

Cost: $35/late entry fee through Saturday. No entries accepted Sunday.

7: ‘Wicked’

Long before that girl from Kansas arrives in Munchkinland, two girls meet in the land of Oz. One – born with emerald green skin – is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. They grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good. This Tony- and Grammy-winning smash is presented as part of the 2013-14 Best of Broadway series.
