Obituary: Baker, Rita U.

The Lord came and took our Mom to Heaven to be with her family on April 28, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Ted L. Baker; her companion, Earl Kettleson; her parents, Louis and Ada Pericoli; brothers, Pio, Louis Jr., and Hugo; sisters, Catherine and Theresa.

She is survived by her children, Roy Baker (Jeannie) and Beverly Mack and grandson, Jason (Janelle).

She was born in Dunmore, PA on February 15, 1924.

Rita and Ted were married on September 23, 1944.

She worked for a while at the old Skywalk CafÄ‚Ĺ  at Felt’s Field.

She worked for St. Anne’s Infant Home for 30 years, taking care of “HER BABIES”, before retiring.

Visitation will take place on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 10:00am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 503 N. Walnut Rd., Spokane Valley, WA, with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00am.
