Pacers-Hawks Game 6 set NBA TV record

Turner Sports says NBA TV had a record number of viewers for the final moments of Game 6 between the Indiana Pacers and Atlanta Hawks. Nearly 2 million viewers tuned in between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m. EDT, with officials saying that marked the most-watched quarter-hour in the network’s history. In all, the first seven originally produced live game telecasts by NBA TV during this year’s playoffs have averaged 720,000 total viewers, a 237 percent increase over last year. Game 7, Atlanta at Indiana, is at 2:30 p.m. today on TNT. Pacers guard Paul George will not be suspended for leaving the bench during an altercation in Game 6. – Associated Press
