She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and friend, and will be missed by all.
She was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on November 10, 1923.
Mollie and her husband Tom moved to Post Falls, from Sacramento, California, in 1991 to retire.
Mollie later relocated to Spokane Valley in 2001.
She was a devoted Catholic and was a member of St John Vianney Church in Spokane.
Mollie was also a member of the Spokane Valley Senior Center, where she enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Thomas Norton, who passed in 1997.
She is survived by her two children, daughter, MaryAnn Sains and husband Rick of Stanwood, Washington; and son, John Norton and wife Terri of Spokane Valley, Washington.
Mollie had four grandchildren: Trent Schaefer of Sacramento, California, Andrew Schaefer of Roseville, California, Marissa Norton of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Logan Norton of Spokane Valley, Washington.
She also had three great-grandchildren: Makenna Schaefer and Paige and Andrew Schaefer Jr.
There will be a burial ceremony held at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Saturday, May 17th at 11am.
