Pedestrian struck and killed in Juliaetta

Associated Press
JULIAETTA, Idaho — A 55-year-old Juliaetta man died over the weekend after being struck by a pickup truck while crossing the street. The Idaho State Police say Stanley Olai Solberg was hit at 9 p.m. Saturday by a pickup driven by a 30-year-old Juliaetta man. The man told investigators he didn’t see Solberg. Investigators say alcohol was a factor in the crash, but a statement from the ISP did not say how it was a factor or whether the driver faced charges.
