Woman found in the Spokane River identified

Officials have used fingerprints to identify the woman found dead in the Spokane River near East Empire on Jan. 10 as Rosalba Robayo Blanco, 60.

Blanco’s fingerprints were obtained in California in 1988. Her last name may have changed since then. The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office is looking for information on Blanco that will help them identify her next of kin. Anyone with information is asked to call (509) 477-2296.
