Obituary: Basden, Laura Mae
Age 83
She was born on January 14, 1931 to parents, Henry and Ella Mae Yeager in Saltese, Washington.
Laura grad-uated from North Central High School in 1949.
She married James D. Basden in 1950, and they spent 61 years together before his passing in 2011.
A loving mother, wife, and homemaker, Laura loved caring for her family.
She enjoyed her family, friends, and pets, but most of all, she loved horses.
Riding, illustrating, and painting horses were her most favorite things.
Laura is survived by her children, David Basden of Grants Pass, OR, Connie Huseby of Miles City, MT, Mathew Basden of Spokane Valley, WA, Francene Leines of Deer Park, WA, daughter, Lynn Fusco of Sebago, Maine; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grand- children.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will begin at 11:00AM on May 9, 2014 at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY 4305 N. DIVISION in Spokane.
