Obituary: Kohlieber, Dennis Leon Sr.

KOHLIEBER, Dennis Leon Sr. 71 Years of Life A resident of Chattaroy, Washington, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014.

Dennis is the dear father and father-in-law of Dennis Leon Kohlieber, Jr., of Maui, Hawaii, and Angela and Andy Johns of Spokane Valley, Washington.

Dennis enjoyed eight grandchildren: Johl, Rayann, Karynn, Tiarra, Rylee, Abigail, Austin, and Aden.

His sister, Sherrie Wennberg, resides in Seattle, Washington.

He is prededed in death by his daughter, Margaret Preston; his parents, Cecil and Fay “Kay” Miles Kohlieber; and a brother, Randy Kohlieber.

Born in 1942 at Colville, Washington, Dennis graduated from Mead High School with the Class of 1960, and being a certified journeyman electrician, he was a member of I.B.E.W.

- Union Local 37 in Spokane.

Dennis loved stock car and drag racing.

The out-of-doors is where Dennis felt at home, and he loved camping, horses, fishing and hunting.

“Sally-the-Bear” was a long-time living room fixture in their home.

Private family services will be held honoring Dennis.
