Obituary: Salisbury, James H.

SALISBURY, James H. (Age 63) Jimmy passed over on April 24th.

He was young but filled his life with humanity and fun.

He lived his life in Spokane, served his country during the Vietnam era stationed in Nakhon Phanom, Thailand.

He was a Hospice Volunteer, delivered meals for Spokane Aids Network, volunteered at PigOut in the Park and always said that he helped build the Big Red Wagon although we suspect he did more watching than helping.

He was a member of Manito Presbyterian Church, Spokane Men’s Chorus and the Spokane Club.

He worked in the family business which operated Hertz and all the cabs in town.

He loved driving cab and talking to all the people.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Louise and his sister Patty.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nancy.

His sons Ian (Karrie) Chicago, Ben (Deborah) Newman Lake.

Grandson Keegan, Chicago and his brother Roger, Hayden Lake.

Father-in-law Jack, Wenatchee.

A family and friend gathering will take place this summer.

The family wishes to thank all the Doctors, Nurses and staff of Sacred Heart and the Spokane Heart Institute for all their loving care.

Jim and his laugh will be missed by many.
