Tristan Jarry stops 26 as Edmonton ties WHL final series

EDMONTON, Alberta – Tristan Jarry made 26 saves for his third shutout of the playoffs and picked up an assist Wednesday as the Edmonton Oil Kings captured their second straight home game by defeating the defending champion Portland Winterhawks 2-0 to even the best-of-seven Western Hockey League championship at 2-all.

Mitchell Moroz and Curtis Lazar scored for the Oil Kings, who improved to 10-0 on home ice as they tied the Ed Chynoweth Cup heading back to Portland for Game 5 on Friday. Game 6 is Sunday in Edmonton.

The Winterhawks have lost two in a row after losing only three times in their previous 45 games.
