Sunshine likely for Mother’s Day

Several days of rainy, blustery and cloudy weather are is expected to give way to warmer temperatures and some sunshine in time for Mother’s Day, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunday morning is expected to start off mostly cloudy and turn partly cloudy by the afternoon with a high around 64 degrees. However, at least one more nippy night is in store. Temperatures are expected to dip to around 36 degrees Monday morning before a warming trend pushes the Spokane area to highs near 80 degrees by the end of the week.
