Washington and Idaho bike commute statistics
The number of Americans who travel to work by bike grew about 60 percent over the past decade, the U.S. Census Bureau said this week. Top bike-commuting cities in the Northwest include Corvallis and Eugene in Oregon, and Missoula and Bozeman in Montana. Moscow, Idaho, also ranks high, with 5 percent of its population biking to work from 2008-12. Here’s the percent of residents biking to work in selected Northwest cities:
