NAC|Architecture has promoted Rob Paradiso to senior associate and Angela Bishop to associate. Paradiso is a drafter who’s working on the Ferris High School Modernization and Replacement and the Salk Middle School Modernization for Spokane Public Schools. Bishop is an architect working on the Rockwood South Hill Summit Tower project and the Pullman High School Renovation and Reconstruction.

Engineering

Trindera Engineering has hired Curtis Gillespie as an electrical project engineer. Gillespie has more than 14 years of experience in business information systems, electrical design, systems development, and AutoCAD design. Previously, he was a project engineer with Engineered Control Systems.

Health care

Pediatric Home Care has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval accreditation. This accreditation was earned by demonstrating compliance with the commission’s standards for health care quality and safety in home care.

Hospitality

Red Lion Hotels Corp. has earned a 2014 Visionary Award from Hospitality Technology magazine for its work in rewriting all public-facing technologies on its consumer website.

Insurance

Ines Kovacevic has joined Inland Insurance Agency as a personal lines account manager. Previously, Kovacevic was with Safeco Insurance and more recently with Bell Anderson Insurance Agency.

Jan Jesberger Insurance has received the Safeco Premier Partner Program award from Safeco Insurance in recognition of high performance and partnership. Jan Jesberger also received the President’s Award for Excellence and the Gold Level Producers award from the Grange Insurance Association in recognition of superior customer service and commitment to excellence.

Law

Janelle M. Carney has been named a partner at Graham Lundberg Peschel, P.S. Carney will be the managing partner for the firm’s offices in downtown Spokane and Richland.

Marketing

The Spokane Regional MarCom Association has named the 2014 Brightest Spark Award recipients as follows: “April Fool/Stink Bug Trap” - RESCUE! Pest Control Products; “Gonzaga 125th Anniversary” – Gonzaga University; “Coordinated Care Billboard” – Desautel Hege Communications & Coordinated Care; “To Build Up a Great University: Report of the President” – Gonzaga University. The awards are given to recognize excellence by local marketing, communications and public relations professionals. In addition, the Gonzaga University’s 125th Anniversary campaign received the Dussault Community Impact Award and the RESCUE! Pest Control Products “April Fool/Stink Bug Trap” entry received the Blaze Award.

Sustainable Resources Inland Northwest has hired Kelsey Crane as an events coordinator.

Lisa Diffley has joined the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture as the events and membership manager. Previously, Diffley served as executive director of Spokane’s Women Helping Women Fund.
