Obituary: Ford, Carolyn Yeates

Age 71

FORD, Carolyn Yeates (Age 71) Died peacefully on May 6, 2014 at home, in the loving arms of her husband.

Carolyn was born September 22, 1942, in Logan, Utah, daughter of Evert E. Yeates and Marybelle Bodrero.

Carolyn spent her early years in Logan, Utah, later moving to Quincy, Washington.

She attended and graduated from Brigham Young University with a Humanities degree.

Carolyn has richly blessed the lives of her children and grandchildren with her passion for the fine arts.

In 1963, Carolyn married the love of her life Holland B. Ford in the Logan, Utah Temple.

Carolyn and Holland lived briefly in Salt Lake City, Seattle, and Pasco, settling in Spokane, Washington in 1969.

Carolyn devoted her life to her family.

She lovingly raised five children and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her 30 grandchildren.

She loved nothing more than hearing about their adventures and accomplishments.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Holland Ford, who will soon be reunited with her; siblings, Fred Yeates, Carl Yeates, and JoAnn Milne; children, Stephen (Trina) Ford, Christine (Jason) Blazzard, Elizabeth (Mark) Stratford, Marianne (Mark) Kartchner, and Sarah (Sean) Demars; as well as 30 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephew, other relatives and close friends.

There will be a memorial service Saturday, May 17th at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 13608 E. 40th Ave. Spokane Valley, WA.
