Obituary: Maddox, Gail
Age 65
She was born April 19, 1949, to the parents of Sally Mae Cook and Odie Cook.
She grew up in Las Vegas, NV.
After marrying her husband in 1971, the family lived in Tucson, AZ until 1979 when the family moved to Spokane, WA., where they would reside for 33 years.
Gail was an excellent caregiver.
Not only was it her profession for 20 years but it was also her passion to love and care for her residents.
She did this until she retired.
In 2009, Gail survived lung cancer surgery but sadly succumbed to the illness after it returned in 2014.
She is survived by her three children, Phillis Maddox, Glen Maddox, and Rodney Maddox; two siblings, Alice Faye Goree and David Allen Cook; sister-in-law, Patricia Maddox; brother-in-law, Vic Maddox; and grandchildren, Brandon Maddox, Janessa M. Marshawn, Falon Maddox, and Justice Maddox; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by all that loved and cared for her.
A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on May 15, 2014 at Fairmount Memorial Park.
