Post Falls police find missing couple

UPDATE: Post Falls police report they’ve found the Koeps safe.

ORIGINAL STORY: Post Falls police are asking for help locating a couple who went missing from their home Sunday morning.

Blaise Koep, 70, and his wife Suzy, 66, likely left for a drive Sunday morning to Shoshone County in their 2014 blue Chevy pickup, according to a news release. They left behind Blaise Koep’s diabetes medication, indicating they did not plan to be gone long. However, they have not returned to their home.

Blaise Koep, whose given name is Ray, is described as a 5-foot 10-inches tall white man, weighing 250 pounds with brown eyes and a bald head. Suzy Koep is a white woman standing about 5-foot 9-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with blond hair and hazel eyes. The truck’s license plate reads K531.

Relatives asked police to search for the couple. Those with information are asked to contact Post Falls police at 208-773-3517.
