Liam, Emma top baby names in Washington, Idaho

Liam and Emma are Little Mister and Miss Popularity in both Washington and Idaho. The names were the top baby names in 2013 in both states, according to the Social Security Administration. For Washington, the rest of the top five popular names for boys were Mason, Alexander, Ethan and Noah. For girls, Olivia, Sophia, Isabella and Abigail rounded out the list. In Idaho, the next most popular boy names were Wyatt, William, Samuel and Carter. The next most popular girls’ names were Olivia, Sophia, Ava and Isabella. Nationwide, the top names were Noah and Sophia. Liam and Emma were both second nationwide.
