Brain Freeze open in Kendall Yards

Temperatures are climbing, but don’t worry: There’s a new place to cool off.

Brain Freeze Creamery opened its Kendall Yards shop this week, offering two dozen of its nearly 100 ice cream flavors – like Maple Bacon and Coffee and Doughnuts.

Look for a longer story in an upcoming Dish column. Meantime, get your Palouse Crunch on. (That’s honey-cinnamon ice cream with cinnamon-glazed almonds and red lentils – and one of the micro creamery’s top sellers.)

Brain Freeze, 1238 W. Summit Parkway, is open 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday-Wednesday and 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Thursday-Saturday. Call (509) 838-7822.
