Obituary: Wyman, William C.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother and father, Harold and Marianne Wyman and a nephew, Connor Wyman.
He leaves behind his daughter, Kelli (Joe) Harris, and his two grandsons, Austin and Adam Harris, who reside in Gold Bar, WA.
Besides his two brothers, Mike (Carol) and Tom (Kathy), other survivors include his nephews Erich, Mike, Andrew, Damian, Aaron, and Patrick Wyman, as well as numerous grand-nephews and nieces.
Bill was born on September 5th, 1940, and grew up in Yakima as the oldest of the three Wyman boys.
He graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1960, beginning a career in the car business before entering the U.S. Army in 1961.
He spent the next nine years in the Army, serving at bases in Italy and Germany before returning to Yakima in 1969.
He married Judi in 1971 and they moved to Lynnwood, where Bill worked as a service manager for several auto dealerships and foreign auto repair shops until he retired in 2010.
His hobbies included car racing, hunting and fishing, and Mariners baseball.
Bill will be missed by his brothers as the family was very close, growing up in a big family in Yakima where the family owned an apple orchard.
Growing up, the family enjoyed boating, vacationing on the Oregon Coast, and trailer trips to California.
One of the most memorable trips was to Minnesota, where the Wyman family lived in the late 1800s.
Bill will be remembered for his engaging stories, his ability to make friends, and his uncanny ability to have fun wherever he was.
There will be a remembrance service in late June in Spokane at the Cathedral Plaza, where Bill resided for the last three years.
There will also be an interment service at Terrace Heights Cemetery in Yakima in mid-July, exact date to be determined.
