Climate should concern you

Whether you’re a hard-line nonbeliever in global warming, a skeptic, or just someone who doesn’t care one way or the other, the fact that the Antarctic ice caps are melting at an alarming rate – and past the point of no return – should gravely concern you.

It’s a scientific, undisputed fact that the current rate of climate change is occurring at a much faster rate than any changes that have occurred before. Many of the world’s leading environmental scientists believe that human-driven release of greenhouse gases have contributed to the destabilization of the Antarctic ice sheet, which will cause the sea levels to rise. Extreme weather events will become more common, and we’re already seeing longer, more extreme heat waves plus stronger, more active tornadoes, and it’s only May.

Human-induced global warming continues to be a controversial subject, with more and more scientists concluding that it’s a strong contributing factor. You can be political, or face the abundance of scientific facts and be realistic about global warming.

It’s your choice.
