Semitrailer rollover closes lanes of Interstate 90 overnight

From staff reports

Idaho State Police are blaming inattentive driving for a semitrailer rollover that littered Interstate 90 east of Coeur d’Alene with debris and closed lanes of traffic late Monday.

Andrii Aleksanderov, 23, of Puyallup, Washington, was taken to Shoshone Medical Center after his semitrailer struck a road barrier at mile marker 30 and rolled several times just before 10 p.m., according to an ISP news release. The metal piping Alexsanderov was hauling scattered in the roadway, causing a closure of the eastbound lanes of I90 for more than two hours.

Police cited Aleksanderov for inattentive driving, falsifying his log book and failing to wear a seatbelt. The semitrailer was towed from the scene.
