Seahawks sign second-round pick Paul Richardson

The Seattle Seahawks officially signed wide receiver and 2014 second-round pick Paul Richardson on Wednesday. Like all non-first-round picks, Richardson signed a four-year contract. The Seahawks selected the speedy but slim Richardson 45th overall out of Colorado with their first pick of this year’s draft. Richardson participated in rookie minicamp last weekend, where he had two touchdowns the first day. He had to sit out the other two days because of a shoulder injury. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Richardson would be fine and was sitting out as a precaution.
