Man injured in crash just north of Spokane

A man with serious injuries was airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center by MedStar this afternoon after he went off Highway 2 just north of Spokane and hit a tree. Brandon C. Crone, 26, was driving north at Winchester Road when he drifted into the southbound lanes and hit a jersey barrier before his Toyota Tundra pickup jumped the barrier and hit a tree, according to the Washington State Patrol. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
