Outdoor movies at Riverfront Park start June 11

‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ will launch the season

Outdoor movies at Riverfront Park in Spokane start June 11 with “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” and continue every Wednesday night until July 16. The schedule is as follows:
  • June 18 - “Frozen”
  • June 25 - “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”
  • July 2 - “Up”
  • July 9 - “Pitch Perfect”
  • July 16 - “The Goonies”
Pre-movie seating costs $5 per person, with children aged 5 and under free. The events are dog-friendly and include food trucks, trivia games and vendors in the park. The movies are shown in the park’s Lilac Bowl on a 40-foot inflatable movie screen. Blankets, lawn chairs and warm clothes are advised. Movies start at dusk.
