French shouldn’t hold office

I find it hard to believe that The Spokesman-Review could endorse Al French for Spokane County commissioner.

In my opinion, he has no business in any government position after he failed to get the proper permits from the state of Idaho and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 2004 for a project on the Spokane River in Post Falls. I feel that because he has shown he doesn’t have to follow the rules that are in place for all of us, then he is the last person who should be in any public office.
