Thefts reported at Liberty Lake

It was a time for thefts at Liberty Lake the week of Nov. 3-10, with the missing items ranging from a cellphone to a gun.

A business in the 1300 block of North Liberty Lake Road reported theft of $359 worth of alcohol on Nov. 3. The thief was not caught and the case remains under investigation.

A man called police on Nov. 3 to report having his wallet, iPhone and car keys stolen while he was at a weekend party in the 20000 block of Deschutes Avenue. A resident on that same block called police Friday to report that someone had stolen a gun from the center console of his vehicle.

A resident in the 21000 block of East Courtyard Lane called police Monday to report that his cellphone went missing after he invited a man he met online to stay overnight. The acquaintance had reportedly been living in his car.

Other calls from Nov. 3-10

Nov. 3: A debit card was found in the 23000 block of East Mission Avenue and returned to its owner.

A juvenile male was reported to be driving recklessly in the 23000 block of East Colony Court.

Nov. 4: A hit and run was reported in the 24000 block of East Hawkstone. The driver was located and told the officer she thought she had hit the curb.

Friday: A telephone threat was reported in the 23000 block of East Mission.

Arrests: Police made four arrests for driving with a suspended license, two for driving under the influence and one on a warrant.

Citations: Officers handed out two citations for failure to show proof of liability insurance and four for speeding. Additional citations were given for expired vehicle registration and possession of a dangerous weapon.
