Dingus, Zarecor & Associates PLLC has promoted Martin Yanushev from staff accountant to senior accountant and Kami Matzek from senior accountant to manager. Yanushev and Matzek are both certified public accountants and have experience with healthcare and nonprofit organizations.

Engineering

Edmund O. Schweitzer III has been awarded the Washington State University 2014 Regents’ Distinguished Alumnus Award. This is the university’s highest alumni honor. Schweitzer is the founder and president of Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. He received his doctorate from WSU.

Finance

Numerica Credit Union has hired Jennifer O’Callaghan as vice president of marketing and promoted Maigan Snider to small business loan officer. O’Callaghan was previously the senior vice president and managing director of client services at SMITH for 14 years and has 18 years of experience in marketing. Snider was previously a small business loan processor in Numerica’s business services department and has 11 years of experience in the financial industry. In addition, Mark Goodwin has transferred to manager of the credit union’s Coeur d’Alene branch. Goodwin was previously the float manager for Numerica and has six years of experience in the banking industry.

Edward Jones has announced that Josh Clements-Sampson, a financial adviser at the Rock Pointe Corporate Center, and Mary Charbonneau, a senior branch office administrator, were selected to attend the firm’s Advanced Practice Management Forum at the headquarters in St. Louis. This invitation-only training is offered to the top third branch teams nationwide. Clements-Sampson and Charbonneau were among 150 associates out of more than 12,000 associates who were invited to attend this session.

Hospitality

Christopher Rorrer, manager at Moscow’s Fairfield Inn & Suites, was named as one of the “30 Under 30” winners in Hotel Management Magazine. The list recognizes emerging leaders in the hotel industry.

Marketing

Jessica Danielson has joined NAC|Architecture as a marketing coordinator. Danielson has two years of experience in marketing and was previously the marketing director at Pinnacle Physical Therapy.

Nonprofit

Greater Spokane Incorporated has hired Ryan Arnold as the entrepreneurship program director on GSI’s Economic Development team effective Dec. 1. Arnold founded a consulting firm, Sightline Energy, and an entrepreneur support organization, Innovation Collective. He will be responsible for local and regional entrepreneurship support and GSI’s Startup Spokane program.

The Inland Northwest Community Foundation has announced appointments for the organization’s 2015 fiscal year. Board officers were named as follows: chairman, Dale N. Schuman of Intermountain Community Bank and Panhandle State Bank; vice chairman, Robert P. Bishopp of Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company LLC; secretary, Shelley L. Bennett of Palouse Commercial Real Estate. New board members are community volunteer Carol Wilson and Janice H. Baldwin of Merrill Lynch Coeur d’Alene. New North Idaho Partnership Council Members were named as follows: Cheryl Morgan, of Panhandle Bank Kellogg; Michele Magnuson of North Idaho Pain Management Clinic; Ellen Delavan of Delavan Lake Marina.

Greater Spokane County Meals On Wheels has been awarded a $43,000 grant through Walmart’s State Giving Council grant program. The grant will be used to purchase a walk-in refrigerator and freezer to help feed seniors in the region.
