Sequence of events in mine misstated

A co-worker gave the signal for a hoist operator to move the hoist that crushed Nick Rounds in a shaft at the Sunshine Mine. A story Saturday gave an incorrect sequence of events, due to an editor’s error.

Gonzaga alleges trademark infringement

A story that ran as part of the Blogroll on page A5 of Monday’s newspaper incorrectly described the legal action brought by Gonzaga University against Jamie Pendleton, due to a reporter’s error. The school is alleging trademark infringement and hasn’t yet made a claim for monetary damages.

City allocating $80,000 to arts fund

The city of Spokane committed $80,000 in 2015 to the Arts Fund. A brief published Nov. 23 had the incorrect amount, due to a reporter’s error.
