Matthew McConaughey won an Oscar for his performance as a homophobic, rodeo-loving Texan who contracts AIDS. He smuggles unapproved pharmaceutical drugs and distributes them to other AIDS patients by establishing the Dallas Buyers Club. 4 Christmas Tree  Elegance Tuesday through Dec. 14, River Park Square, 808 W. Main Ave., and the Davenport Hotel, 10 S. Post St. A raffle of 18 prize packages, each of which includes a themed, custom-decorated tree and can include gift certificates, items and cash. Each raffle package is valued at about $5,000.
