7 Nights Out

1: Cab Calloway  Orchestra

Originally based at Harlem’s famed Cotton Club, Cab Calloway and his band were at the heart of the American jazz movement of the 1930s and ’40s. His grandson, Calloway Brooks, now leads the legendary band and delivers both the authentic sound of a hot jazz orchestra and the snazzy stage style that the original Cab Calloway was known for. Will you hear “Minnie the Moocher”? We’d bet on it.
