Krista Vansant had 15 kills and nine digs and No. 5 Washington swept Washington State in a Pac-12 Conference volleyball match Friday night at Bohler Gym in Pullman. Scores were 25-20, 25-18 and 26-24.

Washington State’s Emmy Allen and Chelsey Bettinson both had 10 kills and Haley MacDonald dished out a match-high 33 assists.

The loss capped an up-and-down season for the Cougars (10-22, 1-19), who won nine of their first 11 matches before dropping 20 of 21 to end the year.

Next up for the Huskies (29-2, 18-2) is the NCAA tournament. Washington made it all the way to the Final Four last year before being swept by eventual champion Penn State.

The tournament bracket will be revealed on Sunday.
