Jacob Thorpe’s Keys to the Game

9: What went wrong

For the most part the WSU offense was completely ineffective, getting to the UW side of the field only twice after the first quarter. Falk had accuracy issues all night and when he was able to hit a receiver the pass was often dropped.

6: Difference maker

Washington scored on runs of 51 and 60 yards, finishing with 135 rushing yards on 16 carries. He added another 27 yards on three receptions and his long scoring runs gave the Huskies plenty of cushion.
